No Church in the Wild

I’m noticing a lot going on in music and it has gotten to a point where I feel like typing this out instead of doing a video so it gets across better. Satan in rap is going to another level and nobody seems to care except a select few people. If there are more than who I've heard, I either don’t know about it or they’re saying little to nothing. Rappers in mainstream hip hop are blatantly disrespecting God and everybody’s excuse seems to be “Its just art”, “they’re just being lyrical”, etc. etc. etc. Its getting a bit out of hand how these “big name” rappers are being put on a pedestal and looked at like they’re “untouchable”. Two names come to mind, Jay Z and Kanye West who seem to be going hard against God.

Kanye for one used to be a believer in God. Even though “Jesus Walks” seemed to be so much about Christ when it really wasn’t, but that seemed to be when he figured out he was dealing with something bigger than just rapping (“most of all we at war with ourselves“). Besides the hook itself that song had little to do with Jesus besides the 2nd verse (which still baffles me because he won ‘Gospel‘ awards with that song). After he lost his mom he turned into a completely different artist (if you can’t see that then you shouldn’t even be listening to hip hop at ALL). Two songs in particular that stands out are “Monster” & “Power“. If u watch the monster video he has hands grabbing him from behind bars. Now because they’re all female hands people would say “oh he has women trying to keep a hold of him” (I’ve heard that). Yeah they’re female hands because what dude would want male hands grabbing them in their music video. Look closer and you’ll realize those hands represent the devils that are holding him down and he’s not fighting to get away either. In Power he talks about God having too much power “No one man should have all that power”. Ye knows what he’s doing and people take it at face value instead of looking at the bigger picture.

Jay has taken it to a different level than Kanye has. Now before I even say anymore take into account that on the radio with Angie Martinez of Hot 97 in NYC (the radio show he’s MOST popular on) she asked him was he a devil worshipper or in the illuminati and his exact response was “That’s crazy”. NOW as a dude when we get asked a question about something we may be doing that we really don’t wanna answer, most times you say “That’s crazy” or if your girlfriend asks you about some possible infidelity, and you know you’re caught and really don’t know what to say what do you say? “Baby, that’s crazy. You know I’m not doing (blah, blah, blah).” Then he went into what he DOES believe in. “I believe in 1 God. I don’t believe in hell” WAIT…..You believe in “One God” but you don’t believe in hell? Right there that tells you he doesn’t believe in the God that WE believe in. Because the God we believe in let's us know that there is DEFINITELY a hell. So he believes we can live, do whatever we want while we yet live, die and there are no consequences to anything we did wrong during that lifetime, hmm. Does he have a right to believe what he wants? Absolutely. BUT why continuously spit raps about a God you don’t believe in? Why walk around with a “Jesus Is Lord” shirt when you don’t believe in Christ? While before that rock a “Do What Thou Wilt” shirt for an interview which is a known Satanist’s motto and book title? (hypocrisy). He has a song praising Lucifer (Satan). Has lyrics about giving God the middle finger, telling God he’ll be back in a minute (when he feels like it), saying he doesn‘t pray to God he prays to Gotti. The list can go on and on with the subliminal lyrics and what not, but that would take entirely too long. I’m gonna get into the unhidden things.

“No Church in the Wild” is the doctrine for their new religion they claim to be starting. After all the album is called “Watch the Throne“. 

Well Jay named himself Hova (God’s name) and compares his flow to the Holy Ghost. Jay comparing his flow to the Holy Ghost has a meaning all in itself. As a believer, some functions we know of the Holy Ghost is it fills you up with its spirit, convicts you when you do wrong, make you feel a certain way, etc. So what Jay is saying his flow is a spirit is going to fill you up with itself, make you feel things, make you feel conviction, etc. Am I the only one that finds something wrong with that? He’s saying he’s going to fill you with his spirit, a spirit that doesn’t believe in the God that you believe in, a spirit that doesn’t believe in hell, a spirit that tells you “do what thou wilt” and go against what God commands and requires of you. Getting the picture?  He also says “ I‘m wonderin’ if a thug‘s prayers reach/ Is pious, pious cuz God loves pious?” For those who don’t know what the word pious means its precisely this:  A. showing reverence for a deity and devotion to divine worship. B. marked by conspicuous (hypocritical) religiosity. So what Jay is saying God loves super religious hypocrites.

In the same song he compares Kanye to Jesus, so is Ye supposed to be the savior of this new religion? And Ye (as Jesus did in the New Testament) lays down the rules in his verse…There’s no sin if its permitted, deceiving THEM is the only problem "deception is the only felony", you can have sex with whomever you want (fornication is ok), there is no need in asking for forgiveness "Two tattoos, one reads 'No Apologies'”,  “the other said ‘Love is Cursed by Monogamy‘”  basically being with/married to more than one person is okay because his definition of love is cursed by only being with one person (Monogamy). The “monogamy” line co-exists with the next two lines: ”That’s something that the pastor don’t preach / That’s something that the teacher can’t teach” That means exactly what it says. Pastors don’t preach being with/married to more than one person and God CAN’T teach that because it goes against His word.

“what’s a god to a non believer who don’t believe in anything?” <~~that should tell you all you need to know about that song before the 1st verse even hits. Kanye and Jay know exactly what they're doing and they're no longer hiding behind curtains and subliminal lyrics. Its all out in the open and they're basically daring for it to be challenged. They're bold for what they believe in. Are you bold enough to defend the God you say you believe in?

Sin is a disease

This blog is inspired by Christian rap artist Lecrae’s song “Indwelling Sin”

Disease: An impairment of health or a condition of abnormal functioning.

Wikipedia states: In humans, "disease" is often used more broadly to refer to any condition that causes pain, dysfunction, distress, social problems, and/or death to the person afflicted, or similar problems for those in contact with the person. In this broader sense, it sometimes includes injuries, disabilities, disorders, syndromes, infections. Isolated symptoms, deviant behaviors, and atypical variations of structure and function, while in other contexts and for other purposes these may be considered distinguishable categories. A diseased body is quite often not only because of some dysfunction of a particular organ but can also be because of a state of mind of the affected person who is not at ease with a particular state of its body.

Diseases can be passed thru sexual contact, inheritance, can develop over time etc. One in particular is inherited by ALL human beings. A disease that no one can get out of being born into. It’s been around since the beginning of Man and its in all of us without having a choice about it. Whether you believe what I’m about to tell you is the truth or not, just pick up your Bible and read about it for yourself. This disease I speak of is sin. Sin is within all of us and cannot be avoid being born into. Inherited from Adam and Eve we all have sin within us the day we are conceived. As innocent as a baby is he/she cannot escape this illness that is instilled into our fleshly bodies. 

How do you find out you have a disease? Usually you go to the doctor, have a few tests done, wait a lil while for the doctor to come back and tell you whether you have something, why you have it and what you need to do to either medicate it or completely get rid of it. Then the Dr. usually gives you information to read on what the disease is and how to go about everything after that. Well think of God is your 24/7 doctor. You can go to Him to find out what is going on within you and why you’re doing the things you’re doing. He diagnoses you with sin and let’s you know why you have this disease. He gives you the Bible to read about your disease and what you have to do and not do in order to keep this disease to a minimum. Then He gives you Jesus as your medicine and prayer whenever you need to go to Him for whatever else you may need to know or just someone to talk to about what you’re going thru.

In Genesis 2:17 God directly forbade Adam from eating of ONE tree in the entire Garden of Eden (the tree of knowledge) or he would surely die. That not meaning that he would die as soon as he ate from that tree, but if he didn’t eat from that tree Man would have life forever instead of dying at any particular time in his/her lifespan. Eve taking a bite of the fruit meant nothing until Adam took the bite of the same fruit because Adam was appointed ruler of that garden by God and was responsible for everything being held in order.

Now many people have asked “Why didn’t God want him to eat from the tree of knowledge? Didn’t he want Adam to be wise?” to answer question #2 Yes, God wanted Adam to be wise, but not thru anything other than the wisdom of God taught directly to Adam FROM God. The tree of knowledge contained the views of good and evil and God didn’t want Man to know the evil side. He wanted us to only know good and the goodness of God and the beauties of the world He created. But satan wanted nothing to do with that. Genesis 3:4&5 and Isaiah 14:14 prove just what I said. Genesis 3:4&5 states when he tempted Eve to eating the fruit saying (in plain English) “You won’t die. God knows when you eat from the tree your eyes will be opened and  you‘ll know good and evil.” Isaiah 14:14 states how the devil wants to be LIKE God.

SN: A lot of people mistake the words of the devil thinking he wants to BE God, but he specifically says he wants to be LIKE God, not BE God.

Sum of you may be thinking; So how does that apply to us? Well who were Adam and Eve? Answer: The mother and father of all living human beings. So because of their blatant disobedience of The Father we have to suffer the inheritance of sin.

What is sin? Anything that goes against God or His rules of life. Smoking, getting drunk, sex before marriage, pornography, tattoos, cursing, etc are all sins.

The problem with us as humans is the sins of the world are so accepted that nobody either cares or really don’t know that they are sinning. And for those that don’t care they call themselves trying to “gratify” this disease that we all have, making excuses on why they do what they do thinking that whatever excuse they come up with makes it ok to go against God.

Sin will NEVER stop trying to get you to do wrong. It tests you, tempts you, angers you, saddens you, makes you believe what you’re doing is right. It can cause you to lose friends or family. It can cause Sexual diseases or infections. It can even cause you to have bodily injuries or even kill you. Think I’m wrong?? Ok I’ll give u examples.

You’re out at a party (you shouldn‘t be at anyway) and your friends are all getting drunk <b>(testing you)</b>. They start telling you that you need to drink and stop being wack <b>(tempting you)</b>. So since everybody else is drinking you feel you might as well (making u think its right). You start drinking and you and ya friends meet a group of attractive dudes/women and everybody’s drinking and having a great time. All of a sudden you start feeling the dude/chick you hanging with and decide to leave together in your drunkenness. You get to wherever it is you two wanna go and end up having sex. A few weeks/months later you notice things aren’t right. You’re feeling sick and can’t seem to get well for sum reason. So you go to the doctor and  tell him/her what’s going on with you. He does sum tests and blood work and come to find out you’re HIV positive <b>(bodily injury and/or death)</b>. Now you’re sitting in the office wondering how you’re gonna deal with this and now you’re gonna have to take a million medications just to control something you can never get rid of and how you’re so stupid for having unprotected sex with somebody you barely know just because you were drunk <b>(sad and angry)</b>.

Yes that’s an extreme picture I just painted, but how often does that happen?? Very often. Sin doesn’t want you to drop Jesus and be sum sort of heathen, not at all. It wants you to do a lil bit of this and a lil bit of that to satisfy you fleshly wants. And in the midst of you doing all that “lil” bit of stuff you eventually end up forgetting Jesus until its either too late and you’re dead, or you’ve gotten yourself into a situation you can’t get yourself out of. And to my fellow saved Christians sin comes at you twice as hard to get you to backslide and forget about the Lord who saved you from this world in the first place.

Remember God said all sin is forgivable while you’re alive and you can always go to Him, once you leave your fleshly body to go see His face you can no longer be forgiven for anything you’ve done here on earth. And a lot of people use His forgiveness as an excuse to do wrong when they know the consequences. Well we need to stop making excuses and start doing what we KNOW is right. He didn’t give Jesus to this world to live and die for our sins just so we could do wrong and more wrong and just ask to be forgiven. Our sole purpose is to praise, worship, love and fear our Lord God. God never meant for us to feel pain, depression, anger and any other negative emotion..he wanted us to live positive, happy, joyful and in harmony. If you feel any other way then the enemy is attacking you. Never believe that God wants you to feel pain because that's what the enemy wants you to think.

Most importantly for EVERYBODY, the devil is a coward and he knows when Judgment Day comes he will burn in hell with the rest of his demons that were cast out from heaven. He wants you to worship, praise, love and fear him the way you are SUPPOSED to worship, praise, love and fear God and God only. The devil is no one that needs to be feared. God gave YOU authority over him and his subordinates. If you always remember that you can never lose in this war. God said this is a war between him and satan that has already been won by God and His people all we have to do is remain steadfast and run the race with God and we’ll see the new Heaven and new Earth and live in peaceful harmony with The Father. I had a lot more to say but I’ve already said a lot. I’ll give you guys more pending on the response I get to this blog. I love you all and hope you all love me back.

Q: Is it possible to be sexy and saved?

A: That depends on a person’s perception of the word Sexy

My Take: Well I can’t answer for any female out there on what a sexy male is, because I’m not one. But perception of the word “sexy” is different for a lot of people. To me, a sexy female is one who carries herself as a woman and not some sort of derogatory name some females tend to call themselves now days. I’m sure you know what I mean (bad b****). In my eyes, any woman who can honestly call herself a female dog is far from sexy. 1^st and foremost she has to have a passion for Christ and learning God’s Word. I love a woman who is opinionated, yet knows how to get her point across without sounding arrogant or uneducated, a woman who knows exactly what she wants from life and is very ambitious to do what she has to do to get there, clean, well-groomed, well dressed and loves to take care of herself on the outside as well as her spirit, NOT a woman who wants to show all her skin or walk outside virtually naked and leave nothing to the imagination (that’s not sexy that’s just sex). I love a happy woman. Nothing is worse than a woman with a bad attitude whose negativity seems to surround her entire personality. She has to be truthful a woman who wouldn’t lie even if the truth hurts. She should be kind, loving, sensitive, yet can show tough love when needed. Those are just a few things that attract me to the sexiest woman in my eyes, my wife.
